Permalinks Migration Plugin for wordpress
Following from my SEO Tip yesterday, if you decide to reorganize your permanent links for better search engine optimization, then I found a killer plugin that will help you migrate your old permanent links to your new one. Basically you do the following :-
1)Download and Install the Permalinks Migration Plugin for wordpress.
2)Activate the Plugin in your plugin manager.
3)Go To your admin panel->options->PermalinksMigration and set the old permanlink structure of your site. Mine was /%post_id%/%postname%/
4)Go To your admin panel->options->Permalinks and change the new permalink structure to what you want. I changed mine to /%category%/postname%/
5)Check your old indexed pages in Google to see if it redirects to your new permalink structure.
