The $5 A Day Project
I recently read a very interesting e-book put together by Dennis Becker called ‘5 Bucks A Day’. His e-book explains how you can start little internet projects every week with the aim of making $5 at the end of the day. And then repeat the same process over and over again until you have built up a nest egg.
He starts off with a list of projects that he feels will make him at least $5 per day. He chooses one project at a time with the sole aim of making $5 per day. If he reaches this $5 target he move on to another little internet project with the aim of making at another $5 per day.
If all went to plan, he figured out that if he took 2 weeks vacation in the year, he would have completed 50 $5 a day projects which will earn him a whopping $250 a day with no end in sight. Of course some projects will make more than $5 a day whilst some might end up making that much.
I like the concept behind the $5 a day strategy for the following reasons :-
1) It allows you to FOCUS on finishing one project before starting a new one.
2) And if you look at a $5 a day goal compared to $200 a day goal, which do you think your mind is more likely to accept? I think the $5 a day goal looks more achievable. Also, you could actually make the $5 a day goal short term aim and $200 a day your long term aim.
3) You have a start off project list that continues to grow as your appetite for new projects grow. You can cross of projects that have made you $5 a day or more and replace them with new ones. Get the Gist!!!!
If you are wondering about what could make you $5 a day then here a few ideas:-
1) Set up Adwords Campaingn for a new affiliate program you like to promote.
2) Write and submit articles for your niche.
3) Save $5 on your current online business.
4) Review your favourite online product/service on your blog/website
5) Create a new mailing list for a new website
6) And so on….
