  • Think about the title of your facebook group so as to draw people’s attention.
  • Choose a niche ( Target Market)
  • Invite friends to join  facebook group
  • Share Information that will enable people to be successful, info that is valuable and motivational.

Thats a lot of interesting stuff for me to think about.

Web 2.0 basically makes use of user generated content and interactivity on a site. An example of a Web2.0 tool are blogs because when you post to your blog you expect your visitors to comment on topic you post about. So your visitors add content to your site by interacting with you in that way.

Squidoo is another Web 2.0 tool because it enables a community of people to build web pages that are called lenses on just about any subject. There are lenses on subjects such as business, art & crafts, SEO, affiliate marketing, games consoles, hobbies etc.

One of the main benefits of using Squidoo is that building a lens is very easy and straightforward. You can make use of Squidoo wizards and a series of modules that guide you through the process. I discovered that there are actually four simple steps to follow in order to build a lens and you are helped throughout the process. And there is an added benefit in that you can go back at a later date and improve your lenses when you are have more content to add.

You might ask the ultimate question that why should you bother with Squidoo. Well, here are the benefits
1) Its free, you don”t even need to bother hosting them on your servers.
2) It is easy to set up .
3) Google loves lenses and you will get more traffic to your sites through your lenses.
4) You can earn money by setting up lenses.

From an internet marketer’s perspective it is an additional promotional tool for your niche sites and you could even now add an opt in list to pick up potential customers.

And finally, you could even use a Squidoo lens to explore a new niche that you are just considering. It also enables you to add affiliate links that will make you money whilst you are still investigating the potential niche.

Here are a couple of lenses that I built for the PSP Games console.

MyBlogLog offers a web analytics tool that provide basic stats information such as site visits, pageviews and clickthrough. Recently, Mybloglog has added a community feature where registered members can join the community of any other registered site.

Communities are like topics of interest so you can easily find a community based on your hobbies, interests etc. Also, you can add contacts, friends and associates to you individual blogs or communities. You can also network with people within the communities you join or outside the community via email.

Traffic from Mybloglog is slowing filtering to this site and I really enjoy being a member. Interestingly, you can track who reads your blogs by adding a widget like I have on the right side under “My Community”.
