WhyPark provides a good domain parking service
Late last year, I posted a topic Domain Parking - Is It Worth while? because I noted that the disadvantages of domain parking outweigh the advantages. I outlined 3 disadvantages which are :-
1) No Search engine traffic.
2) Decrease in revenue.
3) Parking companies don’t allow you to market your domains in any way.
However, I came across a company called WhyPark.
Whypark.com offers a service with a difference compared to other normal parking domain companies.
Below are some advantages of using WhyPark
1) You choose the keywords that are relevant to your domain name & WhyPark.com does the rest!
2) REAL Content, articles and press releases are displayed on your completely developed web site
3) Fresh content is added to your web site daily. The only content that appears on your web site is directly related to the keywords that you’ve chosen.
4) Visitors will bookmark and come back over and over again to read new articles on the subjects that interest them and brought them to your site in the first place.
5) Easy to follow index pages and automatically updated site maps
6) High keyword density. Since the only articles that appear on your web site are related to the exact keywords you’ve chosen, the result is a themed, content-rich web site with high keyword density
7) Layout and code optimized for search engines
New content is added daily keeping search engines coming back for more
9) Duplicate content is a thing of the past; rotating article introductions on every page are based on your keywords and every page is always unique
10) Automated Google Sitemap creation
11) Keep 100% of revenue generated from your ad clicks, links sold etc
12) Host up to 100 sites at WhyPark for a one of fee of $99
13) Your sites will be indexed by Google, Yahoo etc. So you get search engine traffic to your sites
The only drawback to the WhyPark.com system is that all the templates look identical but that is something Whypark is working on.
Cost wise, you can have up to 100 domains hosted on their servers for $100. And that is the only fee you pay.
Below are some of my domains that I currently have parked. They weren’t indexed on Google intially but they have recently been indexed.

Hi, I read your article on Whypark.com and I looked at your parked sites. I was wondering if you can insert a logo at the top of the parked sites so that the pages look more legitimate.
Can a Whypark user do this?
Thanks,Rob

Hi Rob,
You can insert a logo at the top of the parked sites using the layout option in your domain control panel. However, you can’t host images at Whypark. You will have to host them at free image hosting service http://imageshack.us/ or webhost http://startlogic.com/. You then use the full url of the image in your layout. I haven’t tried it myself but is something I would definitely consider now that you brought it up.

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the information on WhyPark. I was wondering if the WhyPark sites currently generate any income? I dont need you to provide specific numbers or anything that confidential however I would like a sense if the $100 is worth it. At first instance it would seem both scaleable and profitable but since you have several domains parked I wanted to get a sense of your experience.
Thanks,
Moe.

My Whypark site are generation a little revenue of about $2.00 a day. And thats only on about 12 domains. I plan to sell text links and add my own ghost written articles to the sites. Whypark pages are always indexed in Google so if you have the top keywords your sites, they will rank well which means more income. The good thing is you don’t only have to depend on Google adsense. You can always promote other affiliate programs.
Thanks
Ade

Dear Ade,
I recently purchased a WhyPark subscrription and have received zero traffic.
I wanted to ask you 2 questions
1. How long does it take you to get traffic from the search engines and is there a way to speed the process up
2. Is the $2 a day per site or in total
Best Regards,
Mahesh

Hi Manesh,
You need to get your sites indexed on the search engines to start receiving traffic. Make sure you feel in the Google Site Map as well when you register your domains on Whypark. Another thing you could do some article marketing so that you can add your own articles to your sites. Also distribute the articles all over the net with link backs to your sites. I receive about $2 a day on my 12 sites. However, I am in the process of adding more sites which will increase my revenue.
